The Fruitcorso has been a tradition in Tiel and the surrounding region for over 60 years, a unique occurrence!

This milestone prompted the museum to organize a special rotating exhibition titled “Corso Koorts” (Corso Fever). The exhibition showcases the evolution of the Fruitcorso from its inception in 1961 to the latest edition in 2019. The Fruitcorso was not held in 2020 and 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The exhibition tells various stories and features interviews with individuals involved in the Fruitcorso. Visitors can admire beautiful photos displaying the various parade floats, as well as miniature versions of the floats.

Additionally, the exhibition displays Fruitcorso program booklets dating back to 1961, providing insight into the spirit of each era.

In 2021, the Fruitcorso was added to the UNESCO World Heritage list, which is also highlighted in the exhibition.
